Job Title: Court of Protection Solicitor

Location: Bristol

Contract Details: Permanent, full-time

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum - DOE

About Our Client:

LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join a well-established and modern law firm with over 30 years of experience. This firm is renowned for excellence in providing a comprehensive range of legal services to businesses and individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide litigation support, including contentious deputyship work, in collaboration with senior members of the Court of Protection department.
  2. Handle Trust management, assisting with tax affairs, and preparing accounts.
  3. Delegate and supervise tasks to paralegals and trainees when appropriate.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the law and fulfill continuing professional development requirements.

Essential (Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience):

  1. Qualified Solicitor registered with the SRA or FCILEx qualified Legal Executive within Court of Protection and Clinical Negligence.
  2. Extensive experience in Court of Protection law and practice.
  3. Knowledge of trust management, tax obligations, and accounts preparation.
