About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Public Health Engineer Apprentice to join our team at BAM Design. As a Public Health Engineer Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting our Senior Management team and Public Health team leaders in all aspects of MEP development and resource planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Management team and Public Health team leaders in all aspects of MEP development and resource planning.
  • Advocate knowledge sharing to all members of the project teams.
  • Engage with project delivery teams and encourage collaboration from early design stage to final handover.
  • Ensure all projects are designed and managed in line with our duties under the CDM regulations.
  • Commit to undertaking personal continued professional development with a view to achieving chartership and/or membership to a professional institution (e.g. CIBSE).

Requirements:

  • Candidates will typically have at least three A levels at Grades A*-C including Mathematics and Physical Science or their equivalent or will have completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship as a Building Services Design Technician.
  • Be a team player, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Good time management skills in order to commit to work deadlines.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to explore, learn and use new technologies and software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and illustratively.

What We Offer:

  • Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will gain a Level 4 in Building Services engineering senior technician.
