Job Summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to undertake caretaker services to schools and buildings within a Community School Network.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake caretaker services to schools and buildings, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
• Provide relief services as and when required, mainly evenings with possible need at weekends.
• Ensure compliance with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act and undergo the necessary pre-employment checks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of one reference from a current or most recent employer.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
