Adult Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at a specialist nursing home in Daventry, Northamptonshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer the Mental Health Act and Clinical Policy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and evaluate the medical service, ensuring clinical standards are met and maintained.
- Work with external stakeholders to facilitate the service users' journey back into the community.
- Chair ward MDT meetings and contribute to the training and education of staff.
- Ensure the adequate working of the Care Programme Approach for service users.
- Assess referrals and ensure the service meets the needs of those who are appropriately admitted.
- Full GMC Registration.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to affect change professionally and organisationally.
- Understanding of current developments in psychiatry and mental health.
