Role Overview

Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the performance of our Employment Advisor workforce. With a workforce of approximately 5,000 across the UK, we strive to deliver impactful support that truly matters.

The primary focus of this role is to cultivate a culture of excellence within our Employment Advisor teams. This involves identifying effective practices, sharing insights, and providing targeted support to those who may be underperforming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one observations and co-facilitate client appointments, offering constructive feedback to enhance performance.
  • Support advisors who are on performance improvement plans or coach new hires during their onboarding process to ensure consistent quality.
  • Facilitate induction sessions covering essential employability topics such as action planning, job market navigation, and effective caseload management.
  • Collaborate closely with Business and Operations Managers to prioritize advisor caseloads effectively.
  • Provide monthly insights to management regarding observations and performance trends.
  • Model best practices during advisor appointments to foster improved performance.
  • Deliver verbal and written feedback post-coaching sessions, ensuring clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct follow-up observations to assess the integration of learned practices into daily operations.
  • Analyze high-performing advisors to identify and disseminate effective strategies across the team.
  • Partner with Training and Development teams to create and implement learning opportunities aimed at elevating overall performance.
  • Assist the Performance Manager in conducting in-depth reviews of persistent underperformance to uncover root causes.
  • Engage in various employability contracts as needed to share best practices and enhance outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience as an Employment Advisor or Employability Coach.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting targets and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with the Performance Manager to identify areas for impactful coaching.
  • Collaborate with Training and Development colleagues to enhance performance improvement resources.
  • Partner with Quality and Contracts Managers to address trends in underperformance.
  • Engage with Business and Operations Managers to support the resolution of identified performance issues.
