An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Band 7 Ward Nurse Manager on a dynamic 28-bedded acute Gastroenterology ward, where you will oversee the care of patients with diverse conditions, including luminal gastroenterology, hepatology, and complex nutritional needs.
The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with substantial experience and proficiency at the band 6 level within a gastroenterology setting.
A strong interest in providing high-quality, harm-free care in a fast-paced and often challenging environment is essential.
As a Ward Manager, you will need to exhibit outstanding communication skills and the capability to lead your team effectively. A positive and professional demeanor, along with a non-judgmental attitude and openness to change, are crucial for this role.

Qualifications and ExperienceEssential:
- NMC registration
- Completion of a mentorship course or teaching qualification
- Postgraduate module in specialty
