About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. As a key player in securing philanthropy gifts for paediatric medical research, you will be responsible for developing high-value fundraising relationships and contributing to the charity's mission to deliver life-changing treatments to seriously ill children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning your personal target with a focus on securing five-figure+ gifts and multi-year pledges.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with high-net-worth individuals and charitable foundations.
  • Developing detailed proposals, impact reports, and stewardship materials.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a philanthropy fundraising position.
  • Experience developing and managing high-value relationships.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • An understanding of the medical research area.
  • Experience working in a target-driven environment.
