Sports Centre Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Centre Manager to join our team at Anglian Leisure Bottisham. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Sports Centre, ensuring excellent standards in terms of provision, safeguarding, and Health and Safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic development, implementation, and monitoring of the business and project plan.
  • Develop procedures to improve and ensure that the customer's experience is of an excellent standard, improving customer retention.
  • Promote and market Anglian Leisure Bottisham using a variety of media and effectively developing new services within the Centre which will meet local needs, provide additional income, and attract further grant funding.
  • Line manage a team of staff including duty managers, lifeguards, and a receptionist and mentor and coach staff to seek opportunities for their development and progression across Anglian Learning.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Coaching and fitness qualifications.
  • Knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation and of applying it in a Sports environment.
  • Experience of managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
