Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resuscitation Officer to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our Resuscitation Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality resuscitation training across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement resuscitation training programs for healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve resuscitation skills and knowledge
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure compliance with resuscitation guidelines
- Provide expert advice and guidance on resuscitation best practices
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to reduce avoidable cardiac arrests
Requirements:
- Registered healthcare professional with current registration with the HCPC or NMC
- Experience in an acute healthcare setting, such as CCU, ITU, Emergency Department, or pre-hospital care
- Passion for education and resuscitation
- Ability to travel throughout the area of service delivery
- Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
