Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resuscitation Officer to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our Resuscitation Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality resuscitation training across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement resuscitation training programs for healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve resuscitation skills and knowledge
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure compliance with resuscitation guidelines
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on resuscitation best practices
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to reduce avoidable cardiac arrests

Requirements:

  • Registered healthcare professional with current registration with the HCPC or NMC
  • Experience in an acute healthcare setting, such as CCU, ITU, Emergency Department, or pre-hospital care
  • Passion for education and resuscitation
  • Ability to travel throughout the area of service delivery
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
