Acoustic Consultant

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our acoustic consultancy, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on noise from wind farms and other environmental projects.

• Predict, monitor, and provide impartial professional advice on all aspects of noise from wind farms
• Carry out acoustic assessments, noise measurements, and surveys, with an emphasis on ETSU-R-97 wind farm assessments
• Manage equipment installations, logistics, data analysis, and noise modelling
• Conduct baseline surveys for Environmental Impact Assessments
• Carry out data analysis as part of the on-site monitoring process
• Provide accurate and representative noise predictions in the field of noise and planning
• Supply expert witness evidence on all aspects of acoustics, noise, and vibration at Planning Enquiries
• Liaise with clients, local planning authorities, and members of the public
• Manage equipment, installations, and logistics
• Report writing
