About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Instructor to join our team at EDF's Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Maintenance and Engineering teams
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective training materials
  • Deliver training sessions in classroom and plant simulator environments
  • Coach and mentor trainees to expedite learning and improve performance
  • Act as course coordinator for responsible training areas
  • Lead and deliver training to groups of varying sizes
  • Ensure company values, safety, and OpEx are embedded throughout training
  • Communicate with line managers to develop competence within staff
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts
Requirements
  • Relevant training qualification and experience in deploying effective training methodologies
  • Experience in training, learning, and continual improvement processes
  • Ability to lead training projects and knowledge of external training standards and procedures
  • Understanding and experience of modern learning methods and technology for training delivery
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Thirst for learning and ability to get to grips with fundamental Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects
