About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Murphy. As a senior lead, you will play a key role in championing world-class quality and driving excellence across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a quality strategy aligned with our Integrated Management System
  • Drive the effective deployment of our Quality Management System, incorporating best practices and innovative approaches for continuous improvement
  • Establish and deploy mechanisms to ensure compliance and actively participate in checking activities
  • Support the achievement of 'Fit to Finish' working collaboratively with others to enable effective close-out of projects
  • Conduct regular site inspections to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures, and other stated requirements
  • Maintain responsibility for the audit program and support attainment of third-party certification
  • Establish and deploy mechanisms to track, monitor, and report quality management performance and identify improvement focus areas
  • Champion quality improvement activities, including the application of quality improvement tools, facilitating workshops, and investigating quality incidents
  • Champion and support activities, including training, coaching, and mentoring, to instill the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to positively influence behaviors and embed a world-class quality culture
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Quality managerial role
  • Demonstrable site-based experience within civil engineering or construction is essential
  • Experience within the water industry would be beneficial
  • Relevant Quality Membership (MCQI) is desirable
  • Internal or Lead Auditor qualified
  • Solid understanding of the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard
  • MS package knowledge (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
