Job Description

**Job Title:** Family Support Worker - Children's Support Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team at Precedo Healthcare. As a Family Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and encouragement to families with children who require extra care and attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to families in their morning activities
  • Assist with personal care needs of children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • De-escalate challenging situations and provide crisis intervention when necessary

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of conditions such as Autism, developmental delays, physical disabilities, and their emotional effects on children and families
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings and evenings
