Tony Gee and Partners is seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate/Design Engineer with a keen interest in structural engineering to join our established highways team based in Esher. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting highway projects and develop your skills and expertise in bridge design and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver bridge designs for major road schemes under the guidance of experienced engineers
  • Work on highway structures and bridge design projects, developing your skills and expertise
  • Collaborate with our team of experienced engineers to deliver high-quality designs and projects
  • Develop your career and skillset, working alongside some of the best engineers in the industry
Requirements:
  • 18 months - 3 years of experience in highway bridge design and engineering
  • Strong knowledge and competence in structural engineering
  • Ability to undertake structural analyses using industry-recognised software
  • Experience preparing mark-ups, sketches, and notes for engineering drawings
  • Basic knowledge of highway disciplines such as road restraints, drainage, and geotechnics
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Eurocodes and DMR
Desirable Qualifications:
  • BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Working towards MICE Chartership status
