Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Catering Assistant role located at University Hospital Crosshouse.

Working Hours:

The position requires working from 7:30 AM to 1 PM, on a schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, totaling 17.3 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Catering Production & Services Team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in various aspects of food preparation and delivery.
  • Providing service and cleaning duties related to catering services for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Operating tills and performing front-of-house duties.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and practical.
  • A current Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, or the willingness to obtain one within the first three months of employment.
  • Previous experience in a large-scale catering environment is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.
