Senior Finance Manager - Group & External Reporting

Reporting to the Head of Group, External and ESG Reporting, you will manage a team of 5 established individuals overseeing the Group Consolidation and Financial Reporting, including the Group's Full Year Results, Half Year Results, and UK Subsidiary entity accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the year-end and half year-end financial statement reporting processes to produce reporting in accordance with IFRS and relevant statutory requirements (including for UK subsidiary entities)
  • Leading the coordination, preparation, and presentation of elements within the Annual Report
  • Production and presentation of the Period Balance Sheet & Cashflow Pack to the CFO with relevant commentary
  • Ensuring Balance Sheet reconciliations have been completed in a timely manner and have been subjected to a robust review process
  • Key point of contact for external auditors ensuring planning and execution of the year-end audit and half-year review are well managed and ensuring information requests and deadlines are met
  • Supporting the Head of Group External & ESG Reporting in building and promoting a best-in-class financial reporting team
  • Helping to embed a strong controls culture in the team and one of continuous improvement
  • Support in the development of relevant Ocado Group reporting policies and manuals, providing insight across the wider finance community
  • Contribute to commercial projects such as acquisitions; providing guidance and advice on reporting implications

About You:

  • Qualified Accountant with significant PQE, including experience within a large-scale plc reporting environment (FTSE250+)
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and reporting standards and processes
  • Experience of leadership of a global financial operations environment with a track record of delivering effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance targets / SLAs
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, global organization
  • Experience with ERP and consolidation systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion; Oracle EPM)
