**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Midwife Practitioner to join our innovative community-based midwifery team in NHS Dumfries and Galloway. The successful candidate will provide continuity of care for women with complex social needs throughout the antenatal and postnatal periods.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Deliver non-judgmental, individualized midwifery care to women with complex social needs
• Work collaboratively with families and multi-agency partners to improve outcomes for the unborn, woman, and her family
• Provide health promotion, signposting, and support to address factors impacting a pregnant mother's ability to parent
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Social Services, Child Protection Advisors, and voluntary agencies

**Requirements:**

• Registered Midwife with a passion for supporting vulnerable women
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly and develop trusting relationships with women and their families
