Rotating Equipment Inspector

The Rotating Equipment Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of industrial rotating and electro-mechanical equipment, primarily motors and gearboxes, meets international, customer, and internal specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with suppliers to conduct in-process and final inspections, ensuring products comply with relevant standards.
- Implement Non-Conformance Report (NCR) control, notifying external providers of non-conforming products and working towards rectification with minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Audit existing and new providers as per agreed schedules, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Attend various meetings, including project kick-offs, progress reports, and order updates, to ensure effective communication and project management.
The Rotating Equipment Inspector will work a 37-hour week, spread across a sociable day shift pattern:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 to 15:30
- Friday: 07:00 to 12:30
- Annual Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
- Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days, including public holidays
- Annual Company-Wide Bonus (Up to £1,700)
- Pension Scheme: 15% Combined Contribution (9% Employer / 6% Employee)
