We are seeking an experienced SQL Development DBA to join our team at InterAct Consulting. This role is a key addition to our well-established group of DBAs, Engineers, and Analysts, as we continue to support the business and IT departments during our expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Senior Technical Advisor and T-SQL Development champion, collaborating with IT Development teams and Production DBAs to troubleshoot production systems.
  • Lead SQL performance enhancement projects across the group, documenting and implementing all SQL configuration changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality SQL code, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of T-SQL and SQL Development best practices.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a SQL Developer/DBA.
  • Proficient with the full Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS).
  • Understanding of Development methodologies and ITIL processes.
  • Experience with automation deployment tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, OctopusDeploy).
