Job Title: FLT Counterbalance Driver

We are seeking a skilled FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our team in Bardon Hill- Coalville. As a FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for operating a forklift truck and performing warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently
  • Take delivery of goods and supplies
  • Move stock around the warehouse using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
  • Locate and store goods appropriately within the warehouse
  • Operate and maintain large pieces of plant and equipment
  • Work with a close team of other operators to maximise line efficiency
  • Operate production lines to achieve agreed efficiency targets and identify areas for improvement
  • Check for damaged or missing items
  • Maintain an organised quarantine area for goods from suppliers with quality issues
  • Pick production orders according to the Production Schedule
  • Pick off-the-shelf items for orders according to the Production Schedule
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid FLT Counterbalance license
  • Must have own transport due to location
