About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist/Counselling Psychologist/Psychological Practitioner to join our team in the Ealing Crisis Assessment and Home Treatment Team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in providing a comprehensive psychology service, including assessment, formulation, risk assessment, and brief evidence-based interventions. They will also have experience in developing the multi-disciplinary team's knowledge and skills in using a psychological approach to service user care through teaching, training, and supervision.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Providing Direct Care
  • Assess and formulate service users' needs, developing and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to manage risk and provide a psychological perspective to care.
Developing Team Knowledge and Skills
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance the team's understanding of psychological principles and practices.
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior staff, promoting their professional development and ensuring high-quality care.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist/Counselling Psychologist/Psychological Practitioner who meets the following criteria:

  • Doctoral-level training in clinical or counselling psychology or its equivalent.
  • Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council and/or equivalent registering body.
  • Experience in providing clinical supervision and training to junior staff.
  • Post-doctoral training in psychological therapies relevant to severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
