Job Overview

The Strategic Planning and Outcomes Specialist plays a vital role in assisting the planning and outcomes team to fulfill its goals within the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Integrated Care System (ICS). This position is essential for cultivating proficiency in various health and care data, insights, and performance analytics, as well as efficiently extracting, interpreting, and documenting this information for team utilization. Furthermore, this role is key in generating and delivering regular reports to senior management across the ICB and NEL.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the planning and outcomes team to provide strategic insights and analytics that inform critical transformation initiatives, enhance performance, and drive improvements in health and care outcomes for NEL. 2. Support the allocation of resources, oversee the implementation and evaluation of tasks/projects by delivering high-quality assistance, including complex information and analysis, communication, and stakeholder engagement. 3. Act as a pivotal team member while fostering effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally. The job description and person specification outline the responsibilities and outcomes expected from this role. The job holder may be required to undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by their line manager.
