About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team in developing various applications supporting Regulatory Reporting function.

The successful candidate will have strong design and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of Java-based applications and industry-standard technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement reports and controls on the new trade reporting platform supporting all global regulatory initiatives
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, and maintainable systems using approved tools and software development practices
  • Partner with global technology and business teams to develop and implement solutions to fulfill regulatory obligations of the firm
  • Manage relationships and workflows with multiple stakeholders and enhance business understanding in a cross-product role
  • Analyze key performance metrics, monitoring success of initiatives, optimizing the approach, and reporting to key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in designing and developing Java-based applications using industry-standard technologies
  • Familiarity with debugging and performance tuning, along with a good understanding of installing, maintaining, and monitoring Java applications
  • Experience with software development tools such as Git, SVN, Arti factory, and Jira
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity
  • Experience with big data - millions of rows a day
  • Experience with SQL, including query optimization
  • Ability to evaluate, engineer, customize, and extend solutions
  • Good team collaboration and communication skills, cross-region
