Job Summary:

As a Quantitative Developer, you will play a critical role in facilitating daily trades on the Sports betting side of the business, developing and maintaining internal applications, and implementing programs to improve efficiency and profitability.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain various internal applications critical to trading performance using C# and SQL.
  • Implement programs to improve efficiency and profitability, including using mathematical models to calculate the expected chance of events happening in a sporting event.
  • Work directly with the Front Office trading desk to facilitate daily trades.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new ideas and solutions.

Requirements:

  • 2.1 or above in a mathematical discipline, backed by strong A-level results in Science and Mathematics.
  • Strong coding skills in C# and SQL.
  • Good knowledge of rules of most major sports, e.g. football, cricket, tennis, rugby.
  • Familiarity with and interest in quantitative finance.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic approach.
