About the Role

HCRG Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled Dental Nurse to provide clinical and administrative support to our dental team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and administrative support to the Dental Officer to maintain the surgery
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, handle reception duties, and process radiographs
  • Ensure compliance with GDC Principles and Standards for Dental Professionals
  • Manage patient appointments and dental records
  • Comply with Health and Safety Policy directives and legislation
  • Perform preventive cross-infection procedures and manage stock control
Requirements
  • Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) without restrictions
  • Valid suitable and appropriate indemnity insurance with a recognized dental defense organization
  • Completed GDC highly recommended Continuing Professional Development (CPD) including medical emergencies and radiation protection
  • Trained and current in emergency and resuscitation procedures
  • Undertaken additional health clearance checks for clinicians required to perform Exposure Prone Procedures
Desirable Requirements
  • Previous Ministry of Defence (MoD) experience
  • Hold a Dental Nurse qualification
