About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join Michael Page Finance as a key member of our team. As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and operations of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial strategies and systems that align with the company's overall goals.
    • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimising the impact of variances.
  • Financial Operations
    • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
    • Coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Lead and develop the finance team.
    • Manage budgeting process.
Requirements
  • A professional Accountant Qualification (ACA)
  • Can work at pace/strong sense of ownership/drive
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, train & develop staff and delegate as appropriate
  • Decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Intellectual curiosity, innovative, constantly looking for ways to improve the business

What We Offer
  • An estimated salary range between £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + package.
