Cleaner - St Andrew's Connect Centre

Newport

10 Hours per week

£22.00 (Pro-rata)

Norse Group is a leading provider of contract cleaning services across the local area, in partnership with Newport City Council.

We are seeking an experienced Cleaner to join our team at St Andrew's Connect Centre in Newport. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring the site is secure and well-maintained, and undertaking various cleaning duties as required.

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Report any defects or issues to the Area Supervisor
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed
  • Provide excellent customer service

This is a part-time, permanent contract working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 15:00-17:00.

We offer full training for those new to the industry, but ideally we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, including the use of machinery and products
  • Ability to work independently, managing your own workload
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with the public and clients
