Job Description

The Business Data and Engagement Analyst role involves tackling complex business situations to identify problems and opportunities. This position requires collaboration with operational stakeholders to choose analysis techniques and manage initiative scope, requirements, and prioritisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate business situations with complexity and ambiguity, adopting a holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the selection of analysis approaches and techniques, engaging with operational stakeholders.
  • Define and manage scoping, requirements definition, and prioritisation activities for medium-sized initiatives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder input, provide constructive challenge, and enable effective prioritisation of requirements.
Essential Skills
  • Communicate fluently, orally and in writing, and present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead successful business analysis activities with demonstrable experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Manage project plans to deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Experience in Team Leadership and using Tableau or similar toolsets.
  • Proficient IT skills across the Microsoft suite, including creating, updating, and consolidating PowerPoint and Word documents.
  • Good understanding of data modelling using standard methodologies.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience building reports and dashboards.
  • Working with databases.
  • Process improvements and presentation and report writing.
  • JIRA.

Salary: £50,000 - £59,000 (dependent on experience) + Bonus & Benefits
