We are currently seeking a Sous Chef to enhance our renowned Rooftop Japanese Cuisine Restaurant and bar, 8 at The Londoner.

Position Overview:

  • We are expanding our culinary team and are looking for a Sous Chef to contribute to the kitchen at 8 at The Londoner.
  • As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Senior chefs in delivering exceptional Japanese cuisine, collaborating with our team of highly skilled Japanese Cuisine chefs, ensuring that the food served meets our high standards.
  • You will be expected to guide and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring they achieve the required food standards and quality during service and preparation.
  • A passion for Japanese cuisine is essential, along with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new cooking techniques.
  • You will gain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, ensuring confidence in producing all dishes.
  • A strong team player who understands the importance of collaboration in a kitchen environment.

About You:

  • A demonstrated passion for culinary excellence, ideally with experience in a rosette standard operation, particularly in Japanese cuisine.
  • Proven ability to take personal ownership of tasks and ensure their completion to achieve desired results.
  • A track record of achieving results while working effectively within a motivated team, eager to learn and grow.
