Vehicle Collection Class 1 Driver

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Collection Class 1 Driver to join our team at SYNETIQ, our Head Office in Doncaster. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting vehicles from various locations, loading and offloading them onto our HGV vehicles, and ensuring safe transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers and clients to coordinate vehicle collections and deliveries
  • Recover vehicles from various locations, adhering to height and weight restrictions
  • Load and offload vehicles from our HGV vehicles, using the vehicle winch where required
  • Drive as per regulations and legislations regarding working and driving hours, height restrictions, and other relevant laws

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience, with a valid Category C / C+E Driving License
  • Previous recovery or car transporter experience is an advantage
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and resilient individual
  • Good attention to detail and ability to use initiative
  • Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Card
