As an IT Security Manager, you'll develop and enforce robust IT security policies, lead the response to security incidents, and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Lead responses to security incidents and manage the resolution process.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate penetration testing and maintain cyber incident response plans.
- Manage and mentor the Cyber Security Analyst, ensuring continuous professional development.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a highly experienced IT Security Manager with a proven track record in managing information security functions, including incident response and stakeholder engagement. You'll need strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex security issues to a variety of audiences.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing information security functions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of security standards such as NIST, ISO27001, and data protection legislation (GDPR, Data Protection Act).
- A degree in information security, computer science, or a related field is essential. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are desirable.
