About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing the branch and sales management team to deliver profitable growth and outstanding customer service. You will formulate branch and area budgets, manage sales and profitability targets, and communicate our service proposition to staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead, and develop the branch and sales management team to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Formulate branch and area budgets in conjunction with business managers and manage the achievement of sales, profitability, and working capital targets.
  • Communicate the company's service proposition, target markets, and customer service ethos to all staff.
  • Support and drive Group sales initiatives and promotions.
  • Monitor and promote health and safety, ensuring adherence to the company's health and safety policy.
  • Manage recruitment processes and deal with day-to-day management of staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive knowledge and network of electrical suppliers and contractors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of wholesale and distribution of electrical products.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and drive business growth.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets.
