We are seeking a skilled Toolroom Engineer to join our client's team in the Northampton area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of the toolroom, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that production schedules are met.

• Carrying out adjustments on Moulds and tooling to ensure optimal performance
• Soldering parts in the tool shop to meet production demands
• Responding to any breakdowns with moulds and tooling to minimize downtime
• Carrying out machining tasks for Production to meet quality and quantity standards
• Working from planning reports to change tool schedules and optimize production workflows
• Keeping the toolroom tidy and compliant to health and safety regulations
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Working with the manager to produce maintenance schedules and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained

• Experience in a toolroom type position carrying out maintenance in a manufacturing industry
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of toolroom equipment and processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
