Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a visionary framework for your area of expertise, leveraging contemporary engineering practices to align with overarching program goals and digital engineering aspirations.
- Driving innovation and executing the engineering methodologies, technologies, personnel, and culture necessary for your domain to advance the product.
- Collaborating in the design and implementation of product development solutions (including processes, methodologies, tools, technology, personnel, and data) in partnership with software vendors, internal engineering teams, project stakeholders, and other product leaders.
- Facilitating organizational transformation by engaging a diverse range of stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and instilling a sense of urgency.
- Building and guiding a cross-functional team to create and deliver the solutions mandated by the program.
- Engaging with both international and domestic partners to negotiate, agree upon, and implement solutions that are effective across the entire enterprise.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Capability to evaluate data and apply engineering insights to resolve challenges.
- Comfortable navigating uncertainty, questioning conventional wisdom, innovating, and spearheading change.
- Demonstrated experience in an engineering discipline.
- Relevant Engineering/STEM degree (BEng or higher) is mandatory.
Desirable:
- Professional accreditation.
- Experience across various phases of the product lifecycle, from concept design to integration and testing.
- Development of methodologies, processes, and tools utilized in product development, along with familiarity with Flowmaster (Siemens) and Team Centre Unified.
- Proven background in an engineering discipline.
