We are seeking a skilled Tendering and Estimating Electrical Engineer to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating precise and efficient cost estimates for UK-based projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyse and interpret detailed clients' requests, drawings, and/or specifications to identify valued engineered solutions.
- Develop accurate and timely estimates, produce clear and detailed quotations, and attend pre- and post-tender bid meetings with clients and/or their representatives.
- Work under deadline pressures in an efficient, composed, and calm manner, and develop good working relationships with clients.
- Identify and develop new customers, and identify new suppliers and contractors to improve safety, performance, and profit.
- HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
- Knowledge of LV, HV & EHV distribution networks and protection systems.
- Civil Engineering/Utilities experience.
- Commercial awareness.
- Full UK driving license.
- Company car allowance/car ownership scheme.
- 12% employer pension contribution.
- Hybrid working up to 2 days per week.
