An excellent opportunity awaits for a talented individual to take on the role of a Vehicle Maintenance Technician at Arriva Durham County Limited. This position requires shift work, including weekends, to ensure the effective upkeep of our passenger transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working a flexible schedule of five days within a seven-day period, including weekends
  • Competitive hourly wage of £15.85, with opportunities for overtime
  • Conducting servicing and repairs in accordance with company and regulatory standards
  • Continuously enhancing vehicle performance and safety
  • Preparing vehicles for mandatory inspections
  • Identifying and resolving vehicle issues to maintain high maintenance standards

Essential Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with appropriate certifications
  • Capability to work independently and safely
  • Electrical knowledge and possession of a PCV license are advantageous
  • Conducting inspections for scheduled maintenance
