Job Description

Are you a skilled systems architect looking to drive innovation in next-generation satellite communications? We're seeking a Lead Digital Planning Systems Architect to join our team and lead system-level analysis and design of payloads and ground segments to ensure mission success.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct system analysis, trade studies, and develop technology recommendations to drive innovation in satellite communications.
  2. Define system-level requirements, specifications, and interfaces to ensure seamless integration of payloads and ground segments.
  3. Perform design trade-offs, balancing performance, cost, and feasibility to deliver high-quality solutions.
  4. Analyze performance requirements and allocate them to sub-systems to ensure efficient system operation.
  5. Develop system/payload concepts of operations (CONOPs) and architectural frameworks to guide system design and development.
  6. Define requirements for on-board processors to align with mission goals and objectives.
Required Experience:
  1. Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with expertise in end-to-end system requirements, trade studies, and system analysis.
  2. Experience with satellite communication systems and 5G technologies (ORAN, SCF) with a strong understanding of system architecture and design.
  3. Strong skills in RFI/RFP responses and technical presentations with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
