As part of our ongoing expansion and enhancement of urgent and emergency care services, we are excited to announce several clinical and non-clinical positions. Our new state-of-the-art Emergency Department is being constructed to include a 6-bed resuscitation area, Rapid Assessment Triage, and an ambulance handover zone, along with 35 clinical rooms, including a dedicated pediatric area and triage facilities. This new facility is designed to ensure that patients with urgent or emergency needs receive timely and appropriate care, adhering to national emergency care standards.

Key Responsibilities

The new facility not only boasts advanced patient amenities but has also seen substantial investment in staff facilities, including spacious rest areas and changing rooms. We are committed to providing a comprehensive career development pathway, with significant resources allocated to support the ongoing training and education of our Emergency Department and Urgent Care Service teams, tailored to each role.

The expansion of the Emergency Department has prompted a thorough staffing review, allowing us to align with recommended safe staffing levels as per RCN guidelines, thereby ensuring high-quality and safe nursing care for all patients.
