About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our passionate kitchen team at The Relais Cooden Beach. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cuisine to our guests and contributing to the success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work collaboratively with our team of chefs to provide outstanding food and beverage service to our guests.
  • To prepare and cook a wide range of dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients and adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • To maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring that all food is handled and stored safely.
  • To work effectively with our suppliers to source the best ingredients and to maintain strong relationships with our food and beverage partners.
  • To contribute to the development of new menu ideas and to participate in menu planning and costing.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills and a passion for delivering high-quality food and service.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work varied shifts and to respond to changing priorities.
