We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facilities Coordinator to join our team at The King's Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of various buildings on the Highgrove Estate, ensuring that proactive and reactive maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the organization and delivery of preventative maintenance and repair works.
- Supervise contractors while on-site and ensure works are carried out satisfactorily.
- Manage the cleaning contractors day-to-day.
- Manage routine maintenance tasks, ensuring completion within budget and deadlines.
- Work with other departments to ensure compliance with statutory legislation and best practice.
- Provide technical/practical support to building users.
- Carry out regular inspections to identify any potential issues and take appropriate action to address them.
- Provide basic administration support, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and maintaining records.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work under pressure, and problem-solve where required.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- A friendly, flexible, helpful, enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
- Understanding of facilities and maintenance functions.
- Previous experience in a similar role as part of a facilities team.
- A working knowledge of hard services (e.g. heating systems, HVAC, fire alarm systems).
The post holder will report directly into the Executive Director Highgrove & Partnerships but will be required to work closely with the Head of Finance and Operations, Group Health and Safety Manager, Head Gardener, and Senior Education Manager. Your working hours will be full-time/37.5 hours per week. You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
