Job Summary

We are seeking talented Junior, Mid, or Senior Back-End Engineers to join our dynamic and innovative teams. As a Back-End Engineer at Blockchain, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across various teams, including SuperApp, DeFi, Payments, Brokerage, and Fraud, among others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant, and production-ready distributed backend systems using Kotlin and JVM-based languages.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software to our users.
  • Participate in creating product and software specifications before implementing them.
  • Ensure security is at the forefront of everything you do, employing advanced encryption schemes to secure user and company data.
  • Work with technologies such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and more.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala) and confidence in building, debugging, and shipping microservices.
  • Experience building and shipping highly-available, fault-tolerant, production-ready distributed backend systems.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems design, data structures, databases, and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Understanding of technologies such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ.
  • Customer-focused and suggest ways to improve the backend for the best Customer Experience.
