Nursery Room Leader/Assistant Deputy Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced childcare professional to join our client's growing Nursery team as a Nursery Room Leader/Assistant Deputy Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take a step-up from their current position and into a management team.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
- Act as a Key person to a number of children, maintaining regular contact with parents and ensuring effective communication.
- Ensure the Room is compliant with internal and external policies and regulations, including EYFS and OFSTED frameworks.
- Plan and deliver daily activities, in line with the EYFS curriculum, to promote children's learning and development.
- Carry out supervisions and evaluations, providing constructive feedback and supporting staff development.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure they are filed accordingly, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Act as a mentor and provide leadership to junior members of staff, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
- Ensure the Room and Nursery have good staffing levels, arranging cover when needed and demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills.

Requirements:
- A minimum of a Level 3 childcare-related qualification.
- GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above (if Childcare Qualification achieved after September 2014).
- Excellent knowledge of EYFS and OFSTED frameworks.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
