The Open University UK is seeking a skilled and customer-focused analyst to provide frontline systems support and data analysis to researchers and other research systems users.
This is a 2-year fixed-term contract.
The post holder will be responsible for generating regular management information reports and dealing with ad-hoc reporting requests. They will also support in-house developed systems by monitoring errors, answering user queries, and documenting new solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing regular and ad-hoc reports using data from multiple sources, primarily in Excel.
- Providing email-based user administration and system use support for research-related systems.
- Ensuring the quality of reports produced and testing low-code/no-code system and process enhancements.
- Assisting with the ongoing enhancement of research-related systems and processes.
Requirements include:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with expertise in Excel.
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Query, and SharePoint.
