HSSU Coordinator Opportunity

Nuffield Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HSSU Coordinator at our Woking Hospital. As a key member of our Hospital Sterile Services Unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sterile and disinfected surgical equipment transportation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and dispatch used surgical instruments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Receive and inspect sterile surgical equipment to ensure it meets our high standards
  • Support our theatre team by maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Dispose of contaminated waste in accordance with hospital policy
  • Regularly check equipment to ensure it is in good working order and report any faults
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
