Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Trainee Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of construction projects, working closely with experienced Site Managers to develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Site Managers in the supervision of construction projects, ensuring quality, time, and procurement are met.
  • Complete daily site paperwork, including health and safety forms and reports.
  • Conduct site inductions for visitors and contractors, ensuring they have the necessary qualifications and cards to perform their job safely.
  • Monitor contractor attendance and progress, providing direct instruction as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate project issues and risks to the site team.

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Some experience of working on a construction site.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety obligations and building legislation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence people and work as part of a team.
