Finance Supervisor

Our client, a distinguished manufacturing firm, is seeking a proactive Finance Supervisor to enhance their finance team. This role is a permanent, part-time opportunity, offering flexibility in hours.

As the Finance Supervisor, your primary duty will be to oversee and manage the accounts payable function within the finance department. You will also provide essential accounting support to senior management and the wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Accounts Payable process, ensuring precision and punctuality through meticulous checks and reconciliations.
  • Input supplier invoices and credit notes into the financial system.
  • Facilitate supplier payments in accordance with established terms, conditions, and company protocols.
  • Effectively manage supplier discounts and resolve supplier inquiries.
  • Maintain an organized and current ledger.
  • Collaborate within the finance department, meet deadlines, and assist with the month-end closing process.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and update daily cash flow records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial analysis reports, monthly payroll, and the annual audit process.

Candidate Profile:

  • AAT qualified with demonstrated experience in various financial roles.
