Job Overview

Talent Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a full-time on-site role. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, conducting maintenance and repair tasks, implementing preventive maintenance measures, and managing electrical maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures
  • Manage electrical maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repair
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity

Requirements

  • Apprentice trained or Level 3 qualified in Maintenance Engineering
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Strong technical knowledge in relevant engineering areas, including PLC experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Benefits

  • Salary of £47,800 (inclusive of basic salary, call out & shift pay)
  • Monday - Friday 4 shift rotation pattern 6am - 2pm 8am - 4pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
  • On call every fourth week
  • Overtime at an enhanced rate
  • Annual company bonus
  • 22 days holiday + Bank holidays, with additional days after continued service
  • Pension Employer contributions 5%
