Chelmsford City Council is on the lookout for dedicated, experienced, and customer-oriented Cleaning Operatives to enhance our cleaning division. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a clean and safe atmosphere for both staff and visitors.
Your primary workplace will be at Freighter House Depot, and the available working hours for these roles are as follows:
- Morning Shift: 7:00 am to 10:30 am, Monday to Friday (15 hours per week).
- Morning Shift: 7:00 am to 10:30 am, Monday to Friday (15 hours per week).
We welcome applicants interested in combining both positions for a total of 30 hours per week (6 hours daily). Please indicate your preference in your application.
Flexibility in your schedule is essential, as you may be required to cover for absences within the broader cleaning team, potentially at other Council locations. This may include evening shifts, but please note that night work is not required.
Any hours worked beyond your contracted schedule will be compensated as overtime.
