About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counter Fraud Litigation Specialist to join our award-winning Counter Fraud team at Horwich Farrelly. As a Litigation Executive/Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of complex fraud cases, working closely with our clients to provide expert legal advice and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal with a caseload of complex fraud cases, including motor fraud matters, to ensure that clients are confident in the handling of their legal affairs.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the team, including managing case files and maintaining accurate records.
  • Comply with MI reporting and Client Service Level Agreements.
  • Carry out advocacy on applications and Case Management Conferences as required.
  • Retain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and best practices through internal and external training and development opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, handling a full and varied caseload.
  • A knowledge or experience of Personal Injury Claims, preferably Defendant, and/or previous experience working in the counter-fraud insurance sector.
  • An enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude, with a desire to achieve and exceed targets.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork, with a willingness to engage in public speaking.
