About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our client's team on a part-time basis. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit function of the business, including setting up new accounts, agreeing credit limits, and collection of outstanding invoices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales ledger and ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
  • Agree credit limits with customers and monitor their creditworthiness
  • Collect outstanding invoices and resolve any issues or disputes
  • Produce aged debtor reports to identify and pursue late payments
  • Work with a wide range of national organisations and local businesses to resolve invoice issues and improve payment processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven credit control experience, with a strong track record of collecting outstanding debt
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
